Today, the honor roll occupies not only a prominent place in the Hubbard Commons; it also has a new home online.

Divers installed new flashboards on top of the Iowa River Burlington Street dam earlier this week. The flashboards raise the level of the dam slightly, which provides for a slightly higher water level for the water plant intake. Based on duck behavior, it appears as though the new flashboards make catching dinner just a little bit easier as well.
