University of Iowa Dance Marathon and ISU Dance Marathon are teaming up this week for the One for One campaign. The goal is to raise $1 for every child treated at the UI Children's Hospital last year—$57,889.

A University of Iowa study provides a deeper understanding of how the cancer-causing KRAS gene turns off tumor suppressor genes, and identifies a key enzyme in the process. The findings suggest that this enzyme, known as TET1, may be an important target for cancer diagnostics and treatment.
