If so, you're invited to join the University of Iowa Rhetoric Writing Center staff for Midnight Madness walk-in tutoring on Tuesday, Nov. 19, from 8 p.m. to midnight in 110 English-Philosophy Building. Divers installed new flashboards on top of the Iowa River Burlington Street dam earlier this week. The flashboards raise the level of the dam slightly, which provides for a slightly higher water level for the water plant intake. Based on duck behavior, it appears as though the new flashboards make catching dinner just a little bit easier as well.
