The University of Iowa School of Music will present a free concert by the University and Concert Bands at 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 5, in the Second Floor Ballroom of the Iowa Memorial Union.

The University of Iowa School of Music will present a free performance by the Jazz Repertory Ensemble, directed by graduate teaching assistant Eric Bush, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 1, in Riverside Recital Hall on the UI campus.

The University of Iowa Mobile Museum will travel to the Iowa Archaeological Society spring meeting in Decorah on Saturday, May 3. The museum will be open to the public from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Luther College Library parking lot.

Members of the media are invited to cover an event this Friday, April 25, when Shimek Elementary students release helium weather balloons that will carry cameras high into the sky to measure the curvature of the earth, thanks to a hands-on learning project with UI students and the School of the Wild.
