Six members of the University of Iowa community who served their country in the United States Army and United States Navy are being honored with the 2024 Hawkeye Distinguished Veterans Award.

The University of Iowa’s Reimagining Campus Safety Implementation Team continues to make significant strides to enhance campus safety and student well-being initiatives. Over the last year, the team has focused on completing three of the key remaining recommendations: • Developing a new and improved resource guide • Implementing a comprehensive response model • Establishing the Campus Safety Improvement Board

Hawkeye Wave Way reflects the relationship between the greatest tradition in college athletics and UI Health Care Stead Family Children’s Hospital, which sits north of Hawkeye Wave Way between John Pappajohn Pavilion and Pomerantz Family Pavilion.

Preliminary proposals are now being accepted for fiscal year 2026 P3 initiatives to support the University of Iowa 2022-2027 Strategic Plan. Faculty and staff can submit a proposal for a one- to three-year project that would start July 1, 2025. Preliminary proposals must be submitted by Nov. 13.
