MFA student writes surrounding her experiences with death

Leigh Marshall was 16 when her father was diagnosed with cancer. By the end of the month, he died. Marshall, an MFA playwright in the Theatre Arts Program at the University of Iowa, writes plays about her first-hand experience surrounding death.

TaJuan Wilson named associate vice president for diversity, equity, and inclusion

TaJuan Wilson, executive director of Student Programs and Diversity and assistant professor at the Medical University of South Carolina, has been named the University of Iowa’s new associate vice president for diversity, equity, and inclusion. He will begin on June 28.
