Review of UI Athletics employment practices complete

The law firm reviewing the University of Iowa’s employment practices has submitted its report on the UI Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. They found employees “clearly understood” the importance of diversity within the department, actively recruit women and minority candidates, and know what to do if someone reports discrimination or harassment.

UI recognized for sustainability efforts

The University of Iowa has received a STARS silver rating in recognition of its sustainability achievements from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). STARS, the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment and Rating System, is a program that measures and encourages sustainability in all aspects of higher education.

Accreditation review team to visit UI campus March 25–26
