The University of Iowa Athletics Department will be holding a Norm Parker Celebration of Life service on Saturday, May 31 at Kinnick Stadium. The service, which is open to the public, will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. in the south end zone of Kinnick Stadium.

"The Antinomies of Realism," written by Fredric Jameson and published by Verso, is the winner of the 2014 Truman Capote Award for Literary Criticism in Memory of Newton Arvin. The $30,000 award—the largest annual cash prize in English-language literary criticism—is administered for the Truman Capote Estate by the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop.
