New director announced for Iowa Reading Research Center

The Iowa Department of Education and the University of Iowa’s College of Education recently announced that Deborah Reed will be the next director of the Iowa Reading Research Center. In addition, the center is transitioning to the University of Iowa.

The Board of Regents made no objections to a proposed 3 percent increase in undergraduate resident tuition for the Spring 2016 semester. A vote on the proposed increase is expected at the September board meeting. The board also gives first-round approval to Kinnick renovation.
