UI students provide free tax prep services through VITA

University of Iowa accounting and law students will again provide free tax return preparation services to qualifying persons this year as part of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.

The University of Iowa is presenting "A Deeper Black: Race in America," a lecture by Ta-Nehisi Coates, a national correspondent with The Atlantic and author of “The Beautiful Struggle,” on Wednesday, Feb. 25, at the Englert Theatre. At the conclusion of the lecture, Coates will moderate a community conversation.
