University of Iowa accounting and law students will again provide free tax return preparation services to qualifying persons this year as part of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.

Parents and guardians of current or former pediatric patients of University of Iowa Children’s Hospital are invited to nominate their child as a Kid Captain for the Hawkeyes’ 2015 football season. Nominations will be accepted through March 24.

The University of Iowa is presenting "A Deeper Black: Race in America," a lecture by Ta-Nehisi Coates, a national correspondent with The Atlantic and author of “The Beautiful Struggle,” on Wednesday, Feb. 25, at the Englert Theatre.
