Sally Mason
Sally Mason

Before University of Iowa President Sally Mason retires from her role later this year, the University of Iowa Alumni Association (UIAA) invites the public to attend one of her final public appearances as the institution’s leader Monday, March 9.

In a special UIAA Lifelong Learning presentation, Mason will lead guests through “The University for Iowa: A Legacy of Service and Engagement,” which celebrates the UI’s proud, three-century history of teaching, research, and community enhancement.

Join us for Mason’s personal tour through Hawkeye milestones—and the impact the university’s engagement efforts have made on Iowa, the nation, and world.

Free and open to the public, the event is scheduled for Monday, March 9, at 6 p.m. at the Putnam Museum, 1717 W. 12 St., Davenport. A reception will follow with refreshments and a cash bar. Space is limited so reserve your seat by registering here by Thursday, March 5.

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all UI-sponsored events. If you are a person with a disability who requires a reasonable accommodation to participate in this program, contact the UI Alumni Association in advance at 319-335-3294.
