UI Libraries collaborates to expand access to research data

Students, faculty, and researchers across the Midwest and beyond will gain crucial access to large research datasets through a secure, cloud-based platform called Collaborative Archive & Data Research Environment. CADRE will be developed through a large-scale partnership that includes eight Big Ten universities, a federal funding agency, and private companies.

Former Army air ambulance pilot now studying accounting to save lives

Matt Slykhuis saved the lives of injured soldiers by flying them off the battlefields of Afghanistan. A career change to Army hospital administration has brought the Cedar Falls native to the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business to study for a Master in Accountancy.
