State Rep. Dave Jacoby will partner with the State Hygienic Lab at the UI to advance science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education. As the Hygienic Lab's new Environmental and Public Health ambassador, Jacoby will promote STEM initiatives through the honorary position.

Jane Goodall will present a lecture, “Sowing the Seeds of Hope” at 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 10 at Carver-Hawkeye Arena on the University of Iowa campus. Goodall is a researcher, conservationist, and lecturer, and is best known for her study of chimpanzee behavior that revolutionized primate research.
