Documentary examines struggles in American health-care system

The University of Iowa hosts a free, public screening of the film "The Waiting Room," a character-driven documentary that captures the raw reality of the uninsured patients and doctors and staff at Highland Hospital, a safety-net hospital in Oakland, Ca. The event takes place at 7 p.m. in the HNI Auditorium of the Pomerantz Center and is sponsored by the UI's Public Policy Center.

The Hawkeyes tied a season low with a 26.1 field goal percentage in a 74-54 loss to Baylor Thursday, April 4, in the championship game of the National Invitation Tournament in Madison Square Garden.

She will direct "She Stoops to Conquer," the final production of the 2012-2013 University Theatres Mainstage season; the show opens April 19 in E.C. Mabie Theatre.
