The University of Iowa hosts a free, public screening of the film "The Waiting Room," a character-driven documentary that captures the raw reality of the uninsured patients and doctors and staff at Highland Hospital, a safety-net hospital in Oakland, Ca. The event takes place at 7 p.m. in the HNI Auditorium of the Pomerantz Center and is sponsored by the UI's Public Policy Center.

She will direct "She Stoops to Conquer," the final production of the 2012-2013 University Theatres Mainstage season; the show opens April 19 in E.C. Mabie Theatre.
