Prairie Lights to host reading, film screening April 14

Alexandra Chasin will read from her books "Brief" and "Kissed By" at 4 p.m. Sunday, April 14, in a free reading at Prairie Lights Books in downtown Iowa City. The reading also will be streamed live on the University of Iowa Writing University website. A screening of "Composer and I," a 22-minute film by Chasin and Cathy Lee Crane, will follow the reading.
