A recent survey of staff and faculty working remotely indicates that the vast majority feel positive and supported and are coping well with working from home. The survey was designed to identify areas of need and concern and determine how faculty and staff are adjusting to working from home.

A record number of 24 University of Iowa students and alumni from a range of creative, academic, and scientific fields have been chosen from among more than 10,000 students nationally to receive a prestigious Fulbright award to conduct research, teach English, or undertake creative projects abroad.
Spring 2020 virtual commencement ceremonies

More than 5,400 Iowa students will be awarded degrees after the spring 2020 semester, and many graduates will participate in live-streamed virtual commencement ceremonies, which begin Thursday, May 14, with the College of Pharmacy and end on Friday, June 5, with the College of Dentistry.
Cornelia Lang, Joshua Weiner appointed associate deans by College of Liberal Arts and Sciences
