Hubbard Park is closed for event reservations and recreational activities beginning now through May 17. All current reservations will be canceled through the end of the spring semester.
Annual Doc Dash and Fun Run set for April 5

The Doc Dash is a 5K fun-run/walk set for 9 a.m. Saturday, April 5. The event benefits the Iowa City Free Medical Clinic and the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine Mobile Clinic and is open to all members of the community.
'Exuberant Politics' exhibition, events continue through April 8

University of Iowa faculty, students, and alumni are presenting “Exuberant Politics,” an international exhibition exploring how today’s artists address social issues, in two eastern Iowa locations: Legion Arts in Cedar Rapids and the new Public Space One at 120 N. Dubuque St. in Iowa City.

The University of Iowa Museum of Art (UIMA) will hold its annual Museum Party from 8 to 11 p.m. Saturday, April 12, in the Oakdale Ballroom of the Coralville Marriott Hotel and Conference Center. This year’s theme—Splatter to Sparkle—Join the Journey!— is inspired by the recent restoration and conservation of Jackson Pollock’s "Mural."
UI wins bid to host 2015 National Debate Tournament

The University of Iowa will host the National 2015 Debate Tournament Championship, following a unanimous vote by the National Debate Tournament (NDT) Committee to accept the UI’s bid. This will be the first time the UI has hosted the NDT since its 1947 inception.
