“Evolution in Iowa Backyards: What the Insects Eating Apples and Sunflowers Tell Us About Origins of Species” is the subject of a lecture by University of Iowa biology professor Andrew Forbes at 7 p.m., Thursday, March 22, in the Biosphere Discovery Hub of the UI Museum of Natural History.

The T. Anne Cleary Walkway will be under construction from Jefferson Street to Bloomington Street Monday, May 14, through Friday, Aug. 10.

Making industry connections is one of the primary goals of UI’s Marketing Institute, says the institute’s director, Rob Rouwenhorst. “The big thing is experiential learning, giving students the opportunity to have real-world consultation experience,” Rouwenhorst says.
