'U.S. News' ranks UI among best 30 public national universities

The UI is tied with Michigan State University and Virginia Tech for 28th place among the best public universities in the country, according to the latest rankings published by the magazine U.S. News & World Report.

The University of Iowa Museum of Natural History continues its fall series “Storytime Adventures” at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 16. This month’s featured animal is the flamingo.
