UI receives $17 million for automotive safety research

The University of Iowa Public Policy Center has received three grants totaling $17.2 million to fund automotive safety research and the development and implementation of a national education campaign to help drivers understand the safety systems in their vehicles.

UI Police receive report of a sexual assault

On the morning of Feb. 3, 2014 the University of Iowa Police received a report from a student that the individual was sexually assaulted by an acquaintance at a residence hall. The student has requested to not proceed with a criminal investigation at this time and UI Police are respecting the decision.
