UI relaunches search for Tippie dean

The COVID-19 pandemic necessitated delaying in-person finalist visits from the spring search until the fall. Given that delay, university leadership, in consultation with the search committee co-chairs, has decided to immediately relaunch the search and recruit a new and diverse pool of candidates.

More than 5,400 Iowa students will be awarded degrees after the spring 2020 semester, and many graduates will participate in live-streamed virtual commencement ceremonies, which begin Thursday, May 14, with the College of Pharmacy and end on Friday, June 5, with the College of Dentistry.
