The search committee for the next University of Iowa associate provost for graduate and professional education and dean of the Graduate College is pleased to announce that two candidates will participate in open forums the week of April 7.  

The times and dates of the open forums will be:

• 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 8
  • 2520D, University Capitol Centre, 201 S. Clinton St. 
• 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday, April 10
  • 2520D, University Capitol Centre, 201 S. Clinton St. 

The name of each candidate will be announced in Iowa Now the day before their open forum. At that time, the candidate’s curriculum vitae will be made available on the Graduate College dean search website.

The next dean will succeed Amanda Haertling Thein, who announced in January she accepted the position of dean at the University of Colorado Boulder School of Education.
