If you’ve traveled to other schools to visit friends, collaborate in research, or take part in a conference, you’ve probably had to track down a guest ID for wireless service. You’ll have to do that less often thanks to a recent enhancement to the University of Iowa wireless network.

Some 280 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa were named to the President's List for the 2012 spring semester. The President's List recognizes academic excellence. A student must have a minimum 4.0 grade point average in all academic subjects for the preceding two semesters, with a total of at least 12 semester hours of credit during that period, to qualify.

UI applicants will now self-report
