Children will get to don a miner's hat with headlamp to explore the University of Iowa Museum of Natural History when "Night at the Museum" returns Friday, Sept. 14, from 6-9 p.m.
The evening includes tours of darkened galleries, games, and an opportunity to meet special guests from the Iowa State University Insect Zoo, which allows children to interact with live insects and other arthropods.
The Night at the Museum program will include pizza provided by event sponsor Papa John's Pizza of Iowa City. Pre-registration is required and spaces are limited to 20 children in grades 1-5.
