The notes played on the Old Capitol steps on Friday, Dec. 13, were low, but don't misconstrue that as criticism. "Holiday Tubas," the annual concert performed with the help of Collegium Tubum, the UI’s tuba and euphonium ensemble, brought seasonal cheer to the audience gathered on the Pentacrest.

The University of Iowa Museum of Art (UIMA) set an all-time museum record for attendance at events, programs, and exhibitions during the 2012-13 academic year. The UIMA drew 146,470 people, just surpassing the previous record of 146,466 for 2011-12.
