The University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine celebrated Match Day on Friday, March 15. A total of 136 students in the college participated in the match through the National Residency Matching Program, and 35 percent of those students will receive their training in Iowa.

Playwright draws on childhood experience for latest production

Leigh Marshall, a MFA playwright in the UI Theatre Arts Program, debuted her play Laterality in February. The play, about twin brothers, one of whom has lung cancer, draws upon Marshall's feelings about death. Marshall's father died of cancer when she was 16 years old.
