Student-built miniature satellite seeks ‘missing matter’

Undergraduates in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Iowa helped design and build a miniature satellite that was recently launched into space. HaloSat will look for matter believed missing from the universe's birth. The project is led by Philip Kaaret, professor in physics and astronomy.
