UI Theatre announces Iowa New Play Festival

For more than 40 years, the University of Iowa Department of Theatre Arts has presented an annual festival centered on producing, reading, and analyzing new scripts from the Iowa Playwrights Workshop. Iowa New Play Festival 2015 will take place at the UI Theatre Building May 4-9.

UI to offer bachelor's degree in public health

Beginning fall 2016, the University of Iowa will offer bachelor’s degrees in public health, the first Board of Regents institution to offer an undergraduate major in the field. The degree program is expected to help meet Iowa’s need for public health trained professionals who can directly support citizens’ health.
