'Native Kids Ride Bikes' curator coming to UI campus

Dylan Miner, whose project Anishinaabensag Biimskowebshkigewag (Native Kids Ride Bikes) is currently the University of Iowa Museum of Art’s featured spring exhibition, will present a free public lecture on Thursday, April 18, at 5:30 p.m. in Room 116 of Art Building West. The lecture is titled "History, Memory, and Collaboration.”

Dancers in Company, the University of Iowa Department of Dance's resident touring company, is traveling throughout Iowa and the Midwest this spring, performing live concerts and lecture demonstrations for audiences of all ages. 'Iowa Now' traveled with the troupe to Indian Hills Community College to document the dancers' well-rounded experience.
