UI showcases first-in-state scientific instrument

The University of Iowa on Friday will showcase the founding of a high-throughput screening facility, capable of performing rapid-fire experiments involving large amounts of data and the first of its kind for academic use in the state. The instrument, funded by the federal National Institutes of Health, is expected to spawn research collaboration campus wide.

Night at the Museum turns eyes to the night sky

University of Iowa men's golfer Steven Ihm tied for second place out of 75 individuals at the 2012 Golfweek Conference Challenge, co-hosted by Iowa and Spirit Hollow Golf Course in Burlington, Iowa. Ihm carded a 209 (-7) three-round total to help the Hawkeyes jump from sixth to fourth place on the final day.
