Influential multi-instrumentalist and composer Peter Apfelbaum, founder of the Hieroglyphics Ensemble, will be a special guest soloist in a free concert by the University of Iowa's Johnson County Landmark big band at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 13, in the Englert Theater.
