For more than 20 years, the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the UI College of Dentistry has partnered with the nonprofit organization Proteus Inc. to provide on-site dental services to the children of migrant farmworkers. Parents were invited to bring children ages 18 and younger for a free exam.

University of Iowa residence hall move-in starts Aug. 17

It’s going to be a busy few days in Iowa City as the University of Iowa welcomes thousands of first-year students moving into residence halls. Residence hall move-in will be scheduled in shifts from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 17, and Thursday, Aug. 18.
