The University of Iowa Executive Master of Health Administration program is open to working health care professionals, whether clinicians or managers, who want to move into leadership positions. This fall, the EMHA program was expanded to The John and Mary Pappajohn Education Center in Des Moines.

UI College of Education alum Sara Johnston has earned the President’s Award for Interprofessional Teamwork from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where she serves as an assistant professor.

Cindy Ann Kilgo, a doctoral candidate in educational policy and leadership studies, was one of six recipients to be given the Diversity Catalyst Award by the UI Chief Diversity Office.

Patricia Bahr, Director of ICATER in the College of Education, has received a Distinguished Service Award from The Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA).

Efthymia Kapnoula, who received master's and doctorate degrees in psychology from the University of Iowa, has received the 2016 European Society for Cognitive Psychology (ESCoP) Early Career Publication Award.
