Victoria Maneev, a doctoral student in the Department of Rehabilitation and Counselor Education, has been honored as a Chi Sigma Iota (CSI) Leadership Fellow.

Each year CSI, the International Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society, selects 10 active members to participate in its Leadership Fellow and Internship program. Chosen individuals provide evidence of their leadership potential within a CSI chapter.

These select 10 receive recognition, specialized leadership training and financial support to attend CSI activities held in conjunction with the annual meeting of the American Counseling Association.

During the 2016–2017 school year, Victoria will serve on CSI’s Awards Committee. In addition, she will participate in the review panel that selects the recipients of CSI’s Chapter Development and Statewide/Regional Networking Grants. Victoria will also be a reviewer for the “Movies and TV Shows” section of the CSI Counselors’ Bookshelf, which provides reviews of resources that professional counselors can use in their work with clients.
