Patricia Bahr, director of the Iowa Center for Assistive Technology Education and Research (ICATER) in the College of Education, has received a Distinguished Service Award from the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA).

The Iowa Center for Assistive Technology Education and Research is an assistive technology and universal design resource for the education community throughout Iowa, regionally, and nationally. ICATER helps students, teachers, counselors, families, and others who work with people with disabilities.
