Crowdfunding comes to the UI as GOLDrush

The University of Iowa this week launched GOLDrush, a crowdfunding platform that supports research and other academic-related activities, and provides an easy way for UI alumni, students, and others to make tax-deductible contributions to specific UI-based organizations and projects.

Universities’ veterans groups to march 344 miles toward increased awareness of suicide

This week, veterans groups at the Universities of Iowa and Nebraska will be using a 344-mile ruck march not to build strength but to build awareness about one of the most serious issues facing veterans today: suicide.
