The University of Iowa American Indian Student Association is celebrating its 20th year of hosting a pow wow April 13 and 14 by continuing the tradition and honoring its founders and those who supported its early start.

The University of Iowa Center for New Music will present a free solo violin recital by Kia-Hui Tan at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 20, in the University Capitol Centre Recital Hall. The program will consist of winning works from the 2013 KH Tan Composition Competition for Solo Violin Works: Asian Inspirations.
