Hover cars soon will fly at M.C. Ginsberg Objects of Art, where middle-school students began taking a class on 3D design this past week. The class is one of several offerings for students in grades 6-8 through the University of Iowa College of Education Belin-Blank Center's one-week Junior Scholars Institute.

The University of Iowa was recognized by BestColleges.com as one of the top 25 public universities nationally for having one of the lowest student loan default rates. The UI was ranked as the 12th best public university with the lowest student default rate out of more than 700 public universities.

Charles City teen gets a jump start on college thanks to UI program

Tyler Babcock, who just finished his junior year at Charles City High School, will start his freshman year at the University of Iowa this fall, thanks to the UI College of Education Belin-Blank Center’s new STEM Academy for high-ability students. He plans to major in mechanical engineering.
2015-16 salary program moving forward

With the recent conclusion of the 2015 legislative session, the University of Iowa is moving forward with a salary program for 2015-16. The overall average salary increases for faculty and staff will be between 1 percent and 3 percent.
