Iowa Citians heard a new sound Nov. 3: A new whistle atop the university power plant made its debut blow at noon that day, after replacing one that had been in place for 20-some years.
Second public meeting on Art Building set for Nov. 16

The University of Iowa will hold the second of two public meetings to discuss the proposed repurposement (Feasibility and Adaptive Reuse Study) of the existing 1936 Art Building. The meeting is set for Nov. 16 in Room 2520D of University Capitol Centre.

Terrence Dahl, ’83 PhD, Vice President of Commercial Manufacturing and Packaging/Labeling, at Gilead Sciences, was recently presented with a College of Pharmacy Distinguished Alumni Award. He leads a team in Foster City, California that is responsible for overseeing the contract manufacturing activities throughout Europe, North America, and Australia.
