The University of Iowa is the 159th best research university in the world, with two disciplines ranked in the top 100, according to “U.S. News & World Report’s” latest ranking of top global universities.
UI Libraries seeks campus input on subscription cancellations

Beginning next fiscal year, University of Iowa Libraries must trim the amount it spends on annual subscriptions to journals, databases, and e-books. This reduction is necessary because subscription price increases far outpace budget increases. Subscriptions managed by the UI Law Library are not included in this reduction strategy.

Mellon Foundation: one for a 2019–20 Mellon Sawyer Seminar titled “Imagining Latinidades: Articulations of National Belonging,” and a four-year grant for “Humanities for the Public Good: An Integrative, Collaborative, Practice-Based Humanities PhD.”
