After home football games this fall, North Dubuque Street will open two lanes to northbound traffic for 60 to 90 minutes in order to help accommodate fans leaving the city. Southbound traffic between Foster Road and West Park Road will be temporarily detoured.

Hollingworth, Grosland taking leadership roles on Presidential Committee on Athletics

Hawkeye hoopsters sweep national academic awards

Iowa swept the basketball academic awards given by the College Sports Information Directors of America. Men’s basketball player Jarrod Uthoff was named the national Academic All-America of the Year, while Ally Disterhoft won the same award for women’s basketball. No other school has won both awards in the same year.
