University of Iowa alumnus Mark Norris, originally from Ames, Iowa, reflects on his study abroad experience in Reykjavik, Iceland, on the University of Iceland exchange program. He graduated from the UI in 2007 with a degree in linguistics and is currently an assistant professor of linguistics at the University of Oklahoma.

But there’s no national organization linking them to each other. Ali Rosenberg thought it was a missed opportunity. Blue Zones Project Iowa City announces the University of Iowa has been named a Blue Zones Worksite with more than 4,000 employees taking the pledge to be healthy. The university will celebrate the designation from 2 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center.
