The University of Iowa Museum of Natural History is offering summer art workshops from 2-4 p.m. on Saturdays through the month of July. Each workshop is focused around a different Native American theme ranging from musical instruments to corn husk dolls.

W.A. “Bill” Krause, a UI alumnus and an entrepreneur who created one of the largest convenience store chains in the Midwest, Kum & Go, died Wednesday at his home in the Glen Oaks neighborhood of West Des Moines. He was 78.
