A university search committee has announced the second candidate for the new associate vice president of diversity, equity, and inclusion at the University of Iowa.

Gregory LeFevre, assistant professor of civil and environmental engineering and a researcher at the UI’s IIHR—Hydroscience & Engineering research center, recently received the National Science Foundation’s prestigious CAREER award for his stormwater research.

Nonmajor students took more than 10,000 semester hours of classes in the Division of Performing Arts during the 2017–18 academic year. There they develop new passions, stay connected to their art, and learn skills that translate to their future careers.
