The latest annual report on cancer in Iowa estimates 16,900 new cancers will be diagnosed among Iowa residents in 2015. In addition, an estimated 6,400 Iowans will die from cancer, according to the “Cancer in Iowa: 2015” report released Friday, March 13, by the State Health Registry of Iowa, based in the University of Iowa College of Public Health.

The NCAA and the University of Iowa are hosting the 2015 NCAA Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships at the UI Campus Recreation and Wellness Center (CRWC) March 23 through 28. The CRWC will be closed starting Monday, March 23, at 8 a.m. and will re-open Sunday, March 29 at 7 a.m.
