Presidential Search and Screen Committee encouraged by candidate pool

The firm handling the University of Iowa’s search for a new president says 11 candidates have submitted applications, 16 have said they will apply, and 45 are seriously considering applying. The firm provided an update July 2 during a telephonic meeting of the Presidential Search and Screen Committee.

Emily Hughes appointed associate dean for faculty and academic affairs
