The Threat Assessment and Care Team combines expertise in the areas of law enforcement, mental health, student services, organizational effectiveness, employment law, and other legal issues to provide an integrated and coordinated approach for early identification, assessment, and management of behaviors that threaten the well-being of the UI community.

University of Iowa alumnus receives award from President Obama

President Barack Obama recently named Glenbard East High School Dean Mike Fumagalli a recipient of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching. Fumagalli earned a bachelor's degree in athletic training and a master's degree in science education from the University of Iowa.

Cwiertny to serve House Committee on Energy and Commerce

Film studies PhD student Pat Brown receives DAAD Research grant

Starting at the end of this summer, Film Studies PhD Candidate Pat Brown began living in Berlin to continue work on his dissertation with the support of a prestigious 10-month DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) Research Grant.
