Single-stream recycling, adopted by the University of Iowa campus within the past year, is making it easier to recycle on campus. The effort is part of the university's goal to achieve 60 percent waste diversion by 2020.

ITS seeks courses for e-textbook pilot project

This fall, UI students in participating courses will have a chance to try out electronic textbooks free of charge as part of a pilot project to examine the effectiveness of e-texts. Participation is limited; instructors should express interest by July 1.
