UI Dev/Iowa offers Startup Weekend passes to registrants for fall classes

C-SPAN bus to visit campus Sept. 11 and 12

The C-SPAN bus will visit the University of Iowa campus on Thursday, Sept. 11 and Friday, Sept. 12. Students who visit the bus will have the opportunity to learn about C-SPAN internships, test their knowledge of public affairs through quizzes, and interact with touch screen computers that demonstrate many of C-SPAN's web resources.

UI President Mason announces sanctioning guidelines for sexual misconduct

The University of Iowa has established its first-ever sanctioning guidelines to address sexual misconduct and expelled a second student for a sexual-violence incident, UI President Sally Mason announced on Thursday. The sanctioning guidelines outline in detail the severe repercussions – from probation to expulsion – for those who commit sexual misconduct.
